One of the benefits of starting work early...

This morning, on my way to work, I had the most gorgeous view to feast my eyes on...

I took this picture across the field from the Crafts Americana (Knit Picks) office in Vancouver, WA. Sunrise with Mt. Hood's silhouette in view (Mt Hood is located in Oregon). Yep, I am one of those crazy people that gets up at 4am to get ready for work... It took me a while to acclimate to this time schedule, but in the long run it's great... and with views like this I wouldn't change a thing! Well gotta get back to planning the next catalog...

I used to have a 30 minute drive to work- had to be there at 5:15 in the summer. OUCH! Leave at 4:40 am! But the view like that was behind me on the way :( I would almost crash daily for all the looking in my mirrors to watch the sky... :) I do miss the South Dakota sky... Enjoy that view enough for the rest of us, too!!! Thanks for sharing your pic!

Well Kim.... you might convince me to get up at 4 if I could see that beautiful view (and a full pot of coffee was waiting for me)
Spectacular!!!

Wow, those are great shots, I've never seen the sky look anything like that.
