Knitting Community

Honestly the only time I have to knit is out in public. My life is swirling with high school concerts, drivers ed , equestrian events, remodeling an old home besides working full time. So the chance to stop for a few minutes and knit a row or two is a real treat and great therapy. I am working on a little sweater for my youngest daughter. She is excited and I should have it done sometime this summer in time for her first day back a school. I must admit that I have a few sweaters to finish, so they will have to wait until I am done with this one.
I am using some yarn that is a silk blend. It is wonderful and so elegant. We are adding some very exciting yarns this fall. New colors and new yarn weights.

Now that I am retired, I spend more time knitting than I care to admit, but when I worked I knit whenever I had a moment, and kept a zip lock baggie aith a small project in my tote bad/purse ALL the time.
