Holiday Christmas White Elephant and Cookie Contest

Domovoi Shawl

One of the best perks about being here for me is that I get to see projects knit up and worn by the models before most. And for the October catalog I fell in love with the Domovoi Shawl (as did our model, Amy). So as most of you know I am the catalog manager for Knit Picks however I am a designer by trade so when we switched to new paper a few months ago I was so excited. Photoshoot for May Catalog

We are back in the studio getting ready for the upcoming catalog, which is lace and after 5 knitting. Here are a couple sneak previews of projects to come. Our studio space is not well insulated so as you can see we have some portable space heaters to at least keep our models feet warm and we wrap them in past blanket projects between takes to keep them from turning blue. Meanwhile the photographers and I are bundled in gloves and coats to keep warm...I think the crisp air keeps the creative jui… Continue
