Five years ago my husband and I moved from a very busy stressful life on Capitol Hill in Washington, D.C. to living in a rural setting on a lake in central Vermont. With lots of time on my hands and after 30 years of not knitting I was seduced by Noro yarns. For the past two years I have been knitting scarves - all Noro all different patterns. A few weeks ago I saw a woman in the grocery store who was wearing a great jacket and I asked her if she knit it. SHE DID! Well, I was on the case and found out it was the famous Einstein Jacket. I am now half finished knitting my first one - and I know it won't be my last one. It may be knitting that gets me through a lot of this down time I have never had before. I also owe a great debt to my dear friend in Boston who owns a knit store and who will still answers her phone (even though she has caller ID) when I call for HELP (which is often). Went to a knitting group and two of the women were late because they were birthing lambs.....noone in Washington will believer me when I tell them that. Anyway, hello to everyone out there and would love to hear about other impressive, but easy projects. Suzy
