Thanks. I have never published any patterns other than the 2 on My Blog at the Knitting Community. Some KP friends asked for it and I had to go back in memory and pix to re contruct. I usually just "knit"....Even when I knit from a pattern it is usually just the "fancy" stitches used...or to try out a "new" tecnique. I think most people do that, just as with cooking. Tweak the receipe to accomodate individual taste.
I am having FUN being retired....
talk to you soon
Thanks Sheilakay. I appreciate this. Are you telling me that I should "copy write" my patterns? I ually give them away. I think, unless you belong to a "designers club" it would be way to expensive to do this. My husband and I ran an embroidery, crystal and heat transfer company until we retired. We specialized in "gymnastics" designs. There were many individual people, including companies MUCH larger than us who used our designs, mostly without our consent. The few times we tried to do something about it, it was too expensive to persue this venue. I am talking about 10 of thousands in fees for law firms etc. Up to this date we have not seen any results. We retired in 2007 because the work( the meets start as early as 6am and finish around midnight!), travel, set-up and break downs became too much of an effort and expense to justify the monetary rewards!
I still have my equipment, but we are thinking about selling all the "stuff" we have left.
I will go to the websites and try to locate the patterns patterns I like. Talk to you soon.

Hi, I just tried "heartstrings" and it is a website to find "romantic" things....did not see any patterns. When it says copywrite i assume you cannot share but have to buy the pattern? I would if i could find this site. Thanks

Just done reading your note. I also went to look at your pix. I really like:
1/18 sjaal
3/18 monkey -
16/18 blue vest
18/18 kimono sweater(?).
Do you share patterns? If yes, are they on your blog? Or somewhere on Ravelry?
I went on to Ravelry, but I find it too large and intimidating.
Talk to you soon.

Hi,
We usually stop at the restsop on Rt.95 South when going to FL or SC (we try to take the grandkids down to Hunting Island, near Beaufort )and coming home Rt.95 North. Since we travel in a motorhome it is so much easier to just stay at the rest stop to have lunch a cup of coffee or tea, and, a stretch out our legs. The smokey grey lace is Fan & Feather. Very easy pattern, just 4 row repeat!
We are in South Jersey, on the way to Atlantic City and the edge of the Jersey Pine Barrens where the Jersey Devil resides....or so legend says!
We are too rural, lots of fields, horses, cows , etc. to join a knit club, besides there are none around as far as I know

ps i think i did this thing wrong? i put a comment for you on my page, tried to fix it with copy and past. Hope it come through ok
Ingrid, If you come back through Fayetteville sometime let me know maybe we could meet for a second or two on your way through. Thank you for looking, I love your lace shawl also which pattern was that? the cable scarf and hat are nice also. I think I have that pattern some where. Do you knit much lace. I have been going crazy with lace lately. I have been in 3 or 4 KAL shawl groups and haven't finished them yet. I need to just finish one at a time. Just behind because of too many things to do. Love the picture of your grand kids, cuties. Again thanks for stopping by. Where in NJ are you? I will be in VT in the middle of June around Norwich college.
Hello Sheila,
Been trhough Fayetteville many many times on the way to visit our daughter and family in Winter Springs, FL. She is now living here with us until her husbands transfers to NJ frm FL. I like your laces, specially the red/orang and the picture of the child sweater which i believe is #15.
if you like drop me a line
Ingrid
no, actually I'm busy knitting a sweater for knitpicks..........LOL I'm almost done though and will get back to designing then. The sweater and the chemo hat challenge that I'm running are pretty much taking up all my time. Don't have much to spare for other things and I really need to get busy designing a few more things soon :o)
back to the sweater, was just taking a break when I saw your message. Chat anytime though, it may take me a bit but I check messages quite often to take breaks

I enjoy knitting, there isn't too many projects that I haven't tried. I do enjoy knitting lace and cables. I also do alot of sewing and quilting. I love to travel and meet new people. I am shy to start off with and will stand back in the crowd until I get to know what is going on.
