Ruth: I enjoy having you at one of my get togethers, too You can come any time you like.

In this photo, you can see the book. The author is Ann Feitelson, and it's the Fridarey cardigan. It was in shades of lavender, turquoise and pink--not exactly DH's colors--so I made a B&W copy of the chart and picked my colors accordingly. I'm having fun "playing" with the colors in the piri stripes (I think that's the term), but I'm keeping the star pattern consistent. --P

Hi, Ruth! Yes, the camping trip was wonderful. I'm so grateful to have such a lovely place so close to home, and good friends to share it with. Happy knitting! --Peggy

Morning Ruth.
It took 2 -50 gram skeins of the kettle dyed lace weight yarn. The pattern is in the Knitty, Spring 2006 issue.

I'm not very good at linking so hope this works.
You can also find it on Ravelry if you search the word Convertible. I really enjoyed this pattern. Have a great day.-Knit

Oh by the way. I didn't forget your question on my last blog post I just wasn't sure how many skeins my Convertible Shawl would take. It took two skeins of Shadow Kettle Dyed. It is currently 65 inches before blocking. I haven't blocked it yet.-Knit

The hummingbird actually was in Mississippi and so unbelievable. The hummingbird is a rare white hummingbird not an albino. They are so interesting little birds but this one caught my attention. He needs to be an inspiration for a knitted garment!

Ruth: Yes, I'm happy to be on to the next thing. The steek turned out to be anticlimactic. We'll be camping for a couple of weeks. I have one blog post lined up to appear on Wednesday. I don't know whether I'll have access to internet anytime while we're gone, but I'll check in if I can. Otherwise, look for me in early August. --P

I thought it looked good also. I just need to finish it for my sister. I don't think it will take me long to get use to knitting in the front. Your socks look good and I like your sweaters.

How did you do the sweaters? I really liked the design on them. I've just have a plain sweater. I don't know if I can do a design on them yet. Still learning how to knit yet. Even though it's 9 years. Got to knit that sweater. It's calling to me. Haha... Have a great day! Bren
