In this photo, you can see the book. The author is Ann Feitelson, and it's the Fridarey cardigan. It was in shades of lavender, turquoise and pink--not exactly DH's colors--so I made a B&W copy of the chart and picked my colors accordingly. I'm having fun "playing" with the colors in the piri stripes (I think that's the term), but I'm keeping the star pattern consistent. --P

It took 2 -50 gram skeins of the kettle dyed lace weight yarn. The pattern is in the Knitty, Spring 2006 issue.

They are so interesting little birds but this one caught my attention. He needs to be an inspiration for a knitted garment!
