I used the Universal Toe-Up Sock Formula pattern from Knitty. To get the contrasting heels, toes & cuffs, all I did was switch yarn at those areas. I've only make a few pairs of socks before, but toe-up socks are my favorite because I can use up every last bit of yarn. Have fun learning socks!
