Color My World

One advantage your LYS has always had over Knitpicks.com is ease of browsing. Just walk in the door and your eyes scan all the different colors they have to offer. Maybe one or two jumps out and catches your eye. Maybe you're looking for that perfect shade of blue to compliment your nieces bright blue eyes or a funky purple that will match your favorite winter parka.

In person, its easy to spot those colors, but online, you're looking for a Palette Silver needle in a Swish Worsted Gold haystack… Continue

Like A Virgin - Knitting for the 1st time

I thought it was wise to start my Learn To Knit A Scarf & Hat project a little early, so I'd have a head start as a very, very green knitter. Its been a bumpy head start. Kate made me start over (frog?) my hat after my first few rows, then I failed to reverse stockinette my CC color (I knit 8 rows instead of reverse stockinetting 6). After that mistake, Angela convinced m… Continue

I now that you are busy but, for some reason all my wish list links are broken. I made a pretty large one.... and I was signed in but, when I finished and clicked on my wish list it said it was empty. Has anyone else had a problem? If you are the incorrect person to tell please inform me of who to let know. Thank you. Martha

Not sure where to add an idea for you. I love the yarn sorted by color now. Just tried something I hoped would work... I entered 'wallaby' into the 'search' box thinking it would bring up all the yarns you carry in that color. It didn't bring up anything. I would like that option. Thanks for reading!!

So I must say that the wish list is a must for anyone!! Great job on having it ready for the Holliday Seasons! How cool would it be to win your entire wish list!! Keep Up the good work.

Just a Thought...It would be really cool if members could have a place where they could create an online wish list. That way others could look it up and order something for that special someone for a birthday, Christmas or just because!!
Thanks for reading this!

I don't know if you saw my post reply to you on the beginners KAL but I love that you are learning to knit -- nothing like learning the business from the inside out. But read my post -- my friend Keiran was the guy who told me to quit knitting scarves and make something memorable!
